The 2011 FIELDSPORT Wingshooting Schools were sold out - once again - and we had a wonderful experience working with so many avid and dedicated clients. We are very proud of the success of our school program. The wingshooting method we teach is simple and thorough and is now successfully practiced by well over one-thousand upland bird hunters, waterfowlers and clay target shooters. If you are ready to learn a new or fine tune your wingshooting technique, we invite you to sign up for a 2012 school program. The actual dates in August will be determined asap. However, an early deposit will guarantee you a tuition in the two-day school of your choice.

We are also very excited to be adding a 3-day Grouse & Woodcock Hunters Wingshooting School & Hunt program this coming October. We have teamed up with the handsome and private Walled Lake Lodge (www.walledlakelodge.com) located near Vanderbilt, MI. The school program will consist of a 1-day FIELDSPORT Wingshooting School program based on shooting clay targets, followed by two-days of professionally guided grouse and woodcock hunting. Stay tuned for more information. This program is sure to sell-out quickly.

Yes, we are moving our business to a new retail and office location in Traverse City on Hammond Road in the Hammond Commerce Centre. The new address is 1428 Trade Center Drive, Traverse City, MI 49696. Our e-mail and phone numbers will stay the same. Our new store will feature an exclusive and dedicated “Fieldsport Gun Room”. We are planning a Grand Opening during the Spring of 2012. Stay tuned for more information about our planned relocation.

We will also be hosting Chapter II of the Michael McIntosh Estate Auction. Any items not sold during the first auction will be offered again at lower minimum bids. Plus, Michael’s hunting & shooting clothing, travel luggage and magazine collection will be offered during Chapter II of the auction. Stay tuned of more information regarding this final auction celebrating Michael McIntosh’s life.
